CVE-2026-55596: CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in udecode plateCVE-2026-55596 0 CVE-2026-55596 is a high-severity cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the udecode plate rich-text editor versions 53.0.0 through 53.1.3. The vulnerability arises because the media embed renderer trusts serialized provider or sourceUrl metadata without proper protocol validation, allowing an attacker to embed a javascript: iframe source. This can lead to execution of malicious scripts when a victim opens a crafted document. The issue is fixed starting from version 53.1.4.
