CVE-2026-55617 is a session management vulnerability in the Hydro online judge platform versions 4.10.4 through before 5.0.2. The issue arises because the session recreation logic creates a new session token without deleting the old one, allowing stale session cookies to remain valid after logout or renewal. An attacker with access to a victim's stale cookie can replay it to hijack the session without needing credentials or victim interaction. This can lead to account takeover, unauthorized data disclosure, and modification or deletion of data. The vulnerability is fixed in version 5.0.2.
