CVE-2026-55779 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Silverstripe Versioned prior to version 3.2.1. The vulnerability occurs in the RestoreAction::getRestoreMessage() function, which builds restore notifications that improperly neutralize input. Specifically, it inserts certain fields such as Title and URLSegment into HTML without proper encoding, allowing stored JavaScript to execute in an administrator's browser when restoring an archived page. This can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of the CMS session. The issue is fixed in version 3.2.1.
