CVE-2026-55877: CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in symfony uxCVE-2026-55877 0 CVE-2026-55877 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the symfony ux JavaScript ecosystem. The vulnerability exists in the ux_icon() Twig function, which is marked as safe for HTML output and inlines SVG source code verbatim. This allows unsanitized local SVG files or Iconify JSON responses containing malicious script elements, event handlers, or dangerous URLs to execute scripts in the context of the web page. The issue affects versions from 2.17.0 up to but not including 2.36.1, and from 3.0.0 up to but not including 3.2.0. It has a medium severity with a CVSS score of 6.1.
