CVE-2026-5691 is a medium-severity OS command injection vulnerability in the Totolink A7100RU router firmware version 7.4cu.2313_b20191024. It affects the setFirewallType function in the /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi file, where manipulation of the firewallType argument allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands. The vulnerability is remotely exploitable without authentication and has a CVSS 4.0 base score of 6.9. Although the exploit has been publicly disclosed, there are no known exploits in the wild at this time. No official patch or remediation guidance has been provided by the vendor yet.
