CVE-2026-57023: CWE-1284 Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input in Juniper Networks Junos OSCVE-2026-57023 0 CVE-2026-57023 is a vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos OS affecting MX Series with SPC3 and SRX Series. It involves improper validation of specified quantity in input within the TCP proxy plugin. An unauthenticated network attacker can send a specially malformed TCP packet that causes the flow processing daemon (flowd) to crash and restart, resulting in a complete denial of service until recovery. The issue affects Junos OS versions 23.4 before 23.4R2-S7, 24.2 before 24.2R2-S4, 24.4 before 24.4R2-S3, and 25.2 before 25.2R2. Releases before 23.4R1 are not affected.
