0 PraisonAI versions from 1.4.0 up to but not including 1.7.2 contain a critical vulnerability in the codeMode feature that executes untrusted JavaScript within a sandbox. The sandbox relies on an incomplete blocklist and shadowing of process and require properties, allowing attackers to bypass restrictions using constructor tricks to access the host filesystem and subprocess APIs. This enables reading secrets, modifying files, executing commands, or exhausting the host process. The vulnerability is fixed in version 1.7.2.
