Red Hat Update Infrastructure (RHUI) container images are based on the latest RHUI RPM packages and the ubi9 or ubi9-init base images. This release updates to the latest version. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 09/09/2026, 14:32:19 UTC Added: 08/21/2026, 14:22:19 UTC |
0 Red Hat Discovery, also known as Discovery, is an inspection and reporting tool that finds, identifies, and reports environment data, or facts, such as the number of physical and virtual systems on a network, their operating systems, and relevant configuration data stored within them. Discovery also identifies and reports more detailed facts for some versions of key Red Hat packages and products that it finds in the network. 0 A denial-of-service and resource exhaustion vulnerability exists within the `GDBus` component of GLib. The `gdbusauth` authentication mechanism fails to enforce proper length limitations on data lines read from a client. An unauthenticated local or remote attacker can exploit this lack of input validation by sending excessively long streams of data, causing the application to consume massive amounts of system memory and CPU, potentially leading to a crash or system hang. A vulnerability in GLib's g_date_time_get_ymd function allows an out-of-bounds read of 2 bytes when processing an invalid GDateTime object created by g_date_time_add_full. This can corrupt the date output and potentially cause logic errors leading to denial of service. The flaw affects GLib versions prior to 2.70.1. A security update addressing this issue is available from Red Hat. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 06/30/2026, 15:30:45 UTC Added: 08/17/2026, 16:14:21 UTC |
An off-by-one error in the gvs_tuple_is_normal function of GLib's gvariant-serialiser.c file causes an out-of-bounds read of one byte. This flaw can lead to minor information disclosure and denial of service if the read crosses a page boundary. The vulnerability affects GLib versions from 2.68.0 up to but not including 2.70.1. A fix is available and has been issued by Red Hat. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 06/30/2026, 15:30:44 UTC Added: 08/17/2026, 16:14:21 UTC |
0 A flaw was found in GLib. An out-of-bounds read of only 2 bytes can occur in the g_date_time_get_ymd function in the glib/gdatetime.c file when an invalid GDateTime object produced by the g_date_time_add_full function is processed. This flaw can corrupt the date output and potentially cause logic errors that may lead to a denial of service. 0 GLib provides the core application building blocks for libraries and applications written in C. It provides the core object system used in GNOME, the main loop implementation, and a large set of utility functions for strings and common data structures. Security Fix(es): * glib: GLib: Buffer underflow in GVariant parser leads to heap corruption (CVE-2025-14087) * glib: Integer Overflow in GLib GIO Attribute Escaping Causes Heap Buffer Overflow (CVE-2025-14512) For more details about the security issue(s), including the impact, a CVSS score, acknowledgments, and other related information, refer to the CVE page(s) listed in the References section. 0 A flaw was found in GLib (Gnome Lib). This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause heap corruption, leading to a denial of service or potential code execution via a buffer-underflow in the GVariant parser when processing maliciously crafted input strings.
