CVE-2026-5820 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Zypento Blocks WordPress plugin, affecting versions up to and including 1.0.6. The vulnerability arises because the Table of Contents block renders heading text by reading it via innerText and inserting it into the page using innerHTML without proper sanitization. Authenticated users with Author-level access or higher can exploit this to inject arbitrary scripts that execute when other users view the affected pages. The CVSS 3.1 base score is 6.4, indicating a medium severity vulnerability. No official patch or remediation has been confirmed yet, and no known exploits are reported in the wild. The plugin is not a cloud service, so remediation depends on vendor or user action.
