It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to potentially compromise Oracle JDeveloper, leading to unauthorized access to critical data and unauthorized modification of some data. The vulnerability has a CVSS 3.1 base score of 7.5, indicating significant confidentiality and integrity impacts. While exploitation is difficult, successful attacks may also affect additional products beyond Oracle JDeveloper. Oracle has included this vulnerability in its July 2026 Critical Patch Update advisory, which contains numerous security patches across Oracle products.
