CVE-2026-62292: CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read in strukturag libheifCVE-2026-62292 0 CVE-2026-62292 is a high-severity out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the strukturag libheif library, affecting versions from 1.19.0 up to but not including 1.23.1. It occurs when decoding a crafted uncompressed HEIF image tile, leading to a process crash due to an invalid memory read. The issue arises from an integer overflow in tile offset calculation that bypasses bounds checking. This vulnerability requires decoding a specific advertised tile to trigger and does not occur simply by opening the file. The flaw is fixed in version 1.23.1.
