CVE-2026-63125: CWE-59: Improper Link Resolution Before File Access ('Link Following') in lxc incusCVE-2026-63125 0 CVE-2026-63125 is a critical vulnerability in Incus, a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.3.0, an unprivileged, project-confined user with specific permissions can exploit a symlink attack via a crafted image's backup.yaml file. This causes the root daemon to follow the symlink and write to an arbitrary host file, enabling arbitrary code execution as root on the host. Version 7.3.0 addresses this issue.
