0 CVE-2026-63498 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Snipe-IT, an IT asset/license management system. Versions prior to 8.7.0 allow authenticated users with file-management access to upload XML and XSLT attachments that can be requested with the inline=true parameter. The affected endpoint does not apply the safe-inline allowlist, enabling execution of attacker-controlled JavaScript in the context of the Snipe-IT origin. This can lead to theft of same-origin data and authenticated actions by victims authorized to view the object. The issue is fixed in version 8.7.0.
