CVE-2026-66012: Missing Authorization in siyuan-note siyuanCVE-2026-66012 0 SiYuan note-taking software versions prior to 3.7.2 contain a critical missing authorization vulnerability in the POST /mcp kernel endpoint. This endpoint exposes 31 MCP tools without enforcing admin or read-only roles, allowing unauthorized access. When the Publish server is enabled in anonymous mode, remote unauthenticated attackers can exploit this to read sensitive configuration files and write arbitrary files, including malicious plugins that execute with elevated privileges on the next desktop launch. This vulnerability enables full administrator takeover of the affected system. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 07/25/2026, 10:45:56 UTC Added: 07/25/2026, 11:07:36 UTC |
