CVE-2026-66338: Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') in Red Hat Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10CVE-2026-66338 0 CVE-2026-66338 is a medium severity vulnerability in libsoup used by Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. The issue arises from a permissive chunked transfer encoding parser that accepts malformed chunk sizes violating RFC 9112, such as leading whitespace, plus signs, and trailing invalid characters. This discrepancy in parsing behavior can be exploited to perform HTTP request smuggling when libsoup is behind a strict frontend proxy.
