The LifePress WordPress plugin up to version 2.2.2 contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability via the 'n' parameter in the lp_update_mds AJAX action. This occurs because the AJAX action is registered without nonce verification or capability checks, and input sanitization and output escaping are insufficient when rendering the series name in the admin settings page. An unauthenticated attacker can inject malicious scripts that execute when a user accesses the affected page. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.2, indicating high severity. No official patch or remediation guidance is currently available. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 05/12/2026, 07:48:20 UTC Added: 05/12/2026, 08:21:32 UTC |
