CVE-2026-67446: CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption in axllent mailpitCVE-2026-67446 0 CVE-2026-67446 is a medium severity vulnerability in axllent Mailpit prior to version 1.30.4. The issue involves uncontrolled resource consumption when processing attacker-supplied image attachments in the thumbnail generation endpoint. Specifically, Mailpit decodes images fully before validating their dimensions or memory usage, allowing crafted images with large declared dimensions to consume excessive CPU and memory. This can degrade service availability when unauthenticated clients upload such attachments and trigger thumbnail generation. The vulnerability is fixed in Mailpit version 1.30.4.
