0

kotaemon versions up to and including 0.12.0 contain an insecure deserialization vulnerability in the check_connection endpoint. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to supply crafted YAML/JSON input with a __type__ field to instantiate arbitrary Python classes. The vulnerability has a critical severity with a CVSS 4.0 score of 9.3.
