This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to forge JWT tokens, potentially gaining administrative access to the application. Exploitation can result in reading, modifying, and deleting all application data across tenants and managing Cognito user accounts within the deployment's User Pool. AWS manages remediation for this cloud-hosted service. Users are advised to redeploy from the updated repository and patch any forked or derivative code to incorporate the fix.
