CVE-2026-6940 is a path traversal vulnerability in radare2 versions prior to 6. 1. 4. It allows local attackers to supply absolute paths that escape the intended project directory, enabling recursive deletion of arbitrary directories with the permissions of the radare2 process. This can lead to loss of data integrity and availability. The vulnerability arises during project deletion operations where pathname restrictions are improperly enforced.
