CVE-2026-71194: CWE-669 Incorrect Resource Transfer Between Spheres in OpenStack DesignateCVE-2026-71194 0 CVE-2026-71194 is a medium severity vulnerability in OpenStack Designate before version 22.0.2. It involves the mDNS handler performing pool-blind lookups when resolving DNS record queries and NOTIFY requests. When zones with the same name exist across different pools, the lookup fails and causes the handler to refuse all DNS queries through that path. This can be triggered by a single unauthenticated UDP packet and affects both cross-tenant and same-tenant cross-pool configurations. BIND9 views do not mitigate this issue.
