CVE-2026-71473: Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes in Red Hat Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes 2CVE-2026-71473 0 CVE-2026-71473 is a high-severity vulnerability in the search-v2-operator component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes 2. It allows a user with specific administrative permissions on a managed cluster to inject arbitrary configuration data by manipulating the addon.open-cluster-management.io/values annotation on a ManagedClusterAddOn. This can override Helm values, leading to container image injection, privilege escalation, and arbitrary code execution on the managed cluster. Currently, no effective mitigation or official fix is available from Red Hat. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/12/2026, 21:40:09 UTC Added: 08/12/2026, 22:11:57 UTC |
