CVE-2026-71961: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') in Shenzhen Cudy Technology Co., Ltd. WR3000 2.0CVE-2026-71961 0 CVE-2026-71961 is an OS command injection vulnerability in Shenzhen Cudy Technology Co., Ltd. WR3000 2.0 firmware versions before 2.5.24. Authenticated attackers can exploit this flaw via the mesh MQTT command interface to execute arbitrary OS commands with root privileges. The vulnerability arises because the sync_command binary forwards unsanitized input directly to a shell execution sink in command.lua. This allows attackers with MQTT broker access to achieve full root-level system compromise. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/19/2026, 14:28:45 UTC Added: 08/19/2026, 14:37:57 UTC |
