A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's TPM SPI driver (tpm_tis_spi) was resolved by changing the wait mechanism in wait_for_tmp_stat() to use wait_woken(). The issue involved wait_event_interruptible_timeout() evaluating its condition after setting the task state to TASK_INTERRUPTIBLE, which triggered warnings under CONFIG_DEBUG_ATOMIC_SLEEP when the IRQ wait path was used. The fix ensures that wait_tpm_stat_cond() is called only while the task is running and replaces the waiting method with wait_woken().
