The issue involves the use of wait_event_interruptible_timeout() which sets the task state to TASK_INTERRUPTIBLE before evaluating its condition, causing warnings under CONFIG_DEBUG_ATOMIC_SLEEP when the IRQ wait path is used. The fix involves ensuring wait_tpm_stat_cond() is called only while the task is running and replacing the wait function with wait_woken() to properly wait for status changes.
