CVE-2026-72809: Authentication Bypass by Spoofing in siyuan-note siyuanCVE-2026-72809 0 SiYuan versions up to 3.7.2 have an authentication bypass vulnerability in the kernel's CheckAuth function. This flaw grants administrator privileges to any request with a RemoteAddr of 127.0.0.1 for certain endpoints, bypassing access authentication even if configured. The issue arises because a fixed-port reverse proxy forwards requests over loopback without authentication tokens and lacks trusted proxy configuration. This could allow a remote attacker to gain admin access if the proxy is bound to a network interface, though this remote exploitation was not confirmed by testing. The vulnerability is fixed in version 3.7.4. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/12/2026, 19:07:52 UTC Added: 08/12/2026, 19:27:07 UTC |
