CVE-2026-72903: CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') in Eugeny tabbyCVE-2026-72903 0 CVE-2026-72903 is a path traversal vulnerability in the Tabby terminal emulator prior to version 1.0.235. A malicious SFTP server can exploit improper handling of backslash characters in filenames to cause files to be created or overwritten outside intended directories on Windows systems. This occurs because the application preserves backslashes in filenames and uses Windows-native path joining functions that interpret these as directory traversal sequences. The vulnerability is fixed in version 1.0.235. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/10/2026, 20:39:57 UTC Added: 08/10/2026, 20:56:56 UTC |
