CVE-2026-72923: CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption in Microsoft OpenApi.YamlReaderCVE-2026-72923 0 CVE-2026-72923 is a high-severity vulnerability in Microsoft OpenApi.YamlReader and Microsoft.OpenApi.Readers that allows uncontrolled resource consumption. It occurs when parsing small YAML OpenAPI documents with nested anchors and aliases, leading to exponential memory allocation during YAML-to-JSON conversion. This can cause denial of service via out-of-memory conditions. The issue is fixed in versions 2.12.0 and 3.10.0 of OpenApi.YamlReader and version 1.6.30 of OpenApi.Readers.
