CVE-2026-73156: CWE-79 Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (XSS or 'Cross-site Scripting') in MISP cti-transmuteCVE-2026-73156 0 CVE-2026-73156 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in MISP cti-transmute versions up to 1.4.0. The issue arises because attacker-controlled values used in ECharts Sunburst and Treemap tooltip formatters are not properly HTML-escaped. This allows injection of markup or script content into tooltips when users hover over affected slices in visualizations. The vulnerability is due to direct interpolation of unescaped data originating from STIX or MISP sources. A patch replaces this with safe formatter functions that escape HTML entities.
