It involves inconsistent interpretation of HTTP requests, specifically HTTP request/response smuggling, due to improper handling of Transfer-Encoding headers in HTTP/1.0 reverse-proxy deployments. This flaw allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to send crafted requests that bypass normal protocol checks, potentially leading to unauthorized access or state changes.
