The Auto Affiliate Links WordPress plugin up to version 6.8.8 contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This occurs due to improper input sanitization of the 'url' POST parameter and lack of output escaping when displaying stored URLs in the admin statistics page. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this via a publicly exposed AJAX endpoint, injecting malicious scripts that execute in an administrator's browser. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.2 and is classified as high severity. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 05/08/2026, 08:26:33 UTC Added: 05/08/2026, 08:51:24 UTC |
