CVE-2026-73419: CWE-345: Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity in nextauthjs next-authCVE-2026-73419
0

NextAuth.js versions prior to @auth/core 0.41.3 and next-auth 4.24.15 and 5.0.0-beta.32 have a vulnerability where OAuth/OIDC anti-CSRF state, nonce, and PKCE verifier cookies are not bound to the provider that created them. This allows an attacker in a multi-provider environment with account linking enabled to link their account to a victim's user account by exploiting the lack of verification of the callback provider identity. The vulnerability enables persistent unauthorized sign-in via the linked provider. A fix is available in the specified versions.
