CVE-2026-73495: CWE-444: Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') in http4s blazeCVE-2026-73495 0 CVE-2026-73495 is a high-severity HTTP request smuggling vulnerability in the http4s blaze server library for Scala. It affects versions prior to 0.23.18 and version 1.0.0-M42. The flaw allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to inject arbitrary HTTP headers via chunked-body trailer fields, potentially bypassing header-based trust decisions in applications that rely on proxy-set headers like X-Forwarded-For. This can lead to client IP spoofing, unauthorized header injection, and connection termination manipulation. The issue is fixed in versions 0.23.18 and 1.0.0-M42.
