CVE-2026-73500: CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling in etcd-io etcdCVE-2026-73500 0 CVE-2026-73500 is a high-severity vulnerability in etcd, a distributed key-value store. Prior to versions 3.5.33, 3.6.14, and 3.7.1, an unauthenticated network attacker who can reach an etcd TLS listener can open many TCP connections without completing the TLS handshake. This causes unbounded goroutine and memory growth, potentially exhausting memory and causing loss of availability for the etcd cluster and dependent systems such as Kubernetes control planes. The issue is fixed in versions 3.5.33, 3.6.14, and 3.7.1. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/12/2026, 21:22:25 UTC Added: 08/12/2026, 21:41:48 UTC |
