CVE-2026-73561: CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption in anephenix hubCVE-2026-73561 0 CVE-2026-73561 is an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in anephenix hub, a Node.js WebSocket server and client. Versions prior to 0.2.16 improperly handle unauthenticated WebSocket connections by starting a polling loop that is never cleared if the client disconnects silently. This leads to unbounded timers and heap allocations, exhausting CPU and memory resources and causing server unavailability. The issue is fixed in version 0.2.16.
