CVE-2026-7421: CWE-79 Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in passeum Passeum TicketingCVE-2026-7421
0

The Passeum Ticketing WordPress plugin up to version 1. 0 contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This occurs because the plugin's get_shop_url() method returns the shop_name setting without proper sanitization when it starts with "http", and the validate_shop_name() function inadequately validates this input. Authenticated users with Administrator-level privileges or higher can exploit this to inject attacker-controlled external scripts that execute on frontend pages containing Passeum Ticketing shortcodes. This vulnerability does not affect single-site installations where administrators have the unfiltered_html capability. The CVSS score is 4. 4, indicating a medium severity level. No patch or official remediation is currently documented.
