0 CVE-2026-75083 is an integer overflow vulnerability in the NXP KW41Z IEEE 802.15.4 driver of the Zephyr project. The flaw occurs in the receive path where a length field underflows, causing a buffer overrun in network packet buffers. This can lead to memory corruption and potential crashes. The vulnerability is triggered by unauthenticated frames with a crafted length byte sent over the air. The impact is limited to memory corruption and denial of service, with no direct confidentiality or integrity compromise from attacker-controlled data. A fix has been implemented to reject invalid lengths and verify buffer space before copying data. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/14/2026, 16:45:56 UTC Added: 10/14/2026, 17:05:58 UTC |
