CVE-2026-75484: CWE-93 Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') in mtrudel banditCVE-2026-75484 0 CVE-2026-75484 is a CRLF injection vulnerability in the mtrudel bandit HTTP/2 implementation that allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to inject carriage return, line feed, or null characters into request headers. This occurs because the HTTP/2 header processing does not validate field values for these characters, unlike the HTTP/1 path. The vulnerability affects bandit versions from 1.4.0 up to but not including 1.12.5. The risk arises from how downstream applications consume these headers, potentially leading to issues such as log injection or request smuggling. A related issue involves acceptance of duplicate :authority pseudo-headers, which may cause inconsistent host values. The vulnerability has a CVSS 4.0 base score of 6.9 (medium severity).
