CVE-2026-7556: CWE-79 Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in foliovision FV Flowplayer Video PlayerCVE-2026-7556 0 The FV Flowplayer Video Player WordPress plugin up to version 7. 5. 49. 7212 contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability via comment text due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Exploitation requires the non-default 'Parse Vimeo and YouTube links' setting to be enabled and an administrator to approve a malicious comment, which then executes arbitrary scripts in users' browsers when they view the affected page. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7. 2, indicating high severity. No official patch or remediation guidance is currently available from the vendor.
