CVE-2026-75885 is a critical vulnerability in the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 console that allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit the /api/devfile/ and /api/devfile/samples/ endpoints. This flaw enables Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF), where the console pod can be tricked into making requests to internal services and returning partial responses to the attacker. Additionally, attackers can cause unbounded memory growth by sending repeated large requests without a specified content length, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). No official fix or mitigation currently meets Red Hat's criteria for deployment and stability.
