CVE-2026-75920: Insecure Temporary File in thorsten phpMyFAQCVE-2026-75920
0

phpMyFAQ versions prior to 4.1.6 create backup ZIP archives in a web-accessible location named content.zip, exposing sensitive data such as database credentials. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit a race condition to download this temporary file before it is deleted. Additionally, cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in admin contexts can be leveraged to trigger authenticated backups and retrieve the archive. This vulnerability has a medium severity rating with a CVSS score of 6.0.
