CVE-2026-76251: The software does not perform an authorization check when an actor attempts to access a resource or perform an action. in Splunk Splunk EnterpriseCVE-2026-76251 0 CVE-2026-76251 is a vulnerability in Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, and 10.0.9 where insufficient authorization checks allow non-admin and non-power users to forward requests to Splunk Observability Cloud using a stored access token. This enables unauthorized viewing of data accessible by that token and limited modification of Splunk Observability Cloud content. The issue arises because the Splunk App for Splunk Observability Cloud's REST API endpoint handlers do not enforce the required read_o11y_content capability before forwarding requests. Versions 9.3 and 9.4 are not affected. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/19/2026, 21:34:12 UTC Added: 08/19/2026, 21:38:24 UTC |
