CVE-2026-76328: The software constructs all or part of a command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended command when it is sent to a downstream component. in Splunk Splunk EnterpriseCVE-2026-76328 0 CVE-2026-76328 is a vulnerability in Splunk Enterprise versions prior to 10.4.1, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14. It allows a user with the "power" Splunk role to store attacker-controlled Search Processing Language (SPL) in a dashboard. When another authenticated user exports this dashboard as a PDF, the injected SPL executes with that user's permissions, potentially accessing or modifying their data. The vulnerability arises because Splunk Web insufficiently validates dashboard content before processing PDF exports. Exploitation requires phishing the affected user to initiate the export request in their browser. The "power" role user cannot exploit this vulnerability at will.
