CVE-2026-76350: The software does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. in Splunk Splunk EnterpriseCVE-2026-76350 0 CVE-2026-76350 is a high-severity vulnerability in Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14. It allows users with the schedule_search capability to configure PDF attachments in email alert actions that execute arbitrary SPL commands with system-level privileges. This occurs because the search scheduler uses a system-level authentication context instead of the action owner context when rendering PDF attachments. The flaw can lead to unauthorized data exposure and impact system integrity and availability on the search head.
