A path traversal vulnerability exists in Agno's PythonTools module, allowing attackers to escape the intended directory restrictions by supplying parent-directory traversal sequences. This flaw enables arbitrary file read, write, or Python code execution with the privileges of the process user. The vulnerability affects the functions read_file, save_to_file, and run_python_file when invoked directly or via prompt injection in agent-processed content. No patch or official remediation guidance is currently available.
