CVE-2026-7684 is a high-severity buffer overflow vulnerability in the Edimax BR-6428nC router firmware versions up to 1.16. The flaw exists in an unspecified function within the /goform/setWAN file, where manipulation of the pptpDfGateway argument can trigger the overflow. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely without user interaction or privileges. The vendor has not responded to disclosure attempts, and no patch or official remediation is currently available. Although the exploit has been publicly disclosed, there are no confirmed reports of exploitation in the wild.
