CVE-2026-77763: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') in juicedata juicefsCVE-2026-77763
0

CVE-2026-77763 is a path traversal vulnerability in the filestore backend of juicedata juicefs versions up to 1.4.1. The flaw allows an attacker to cause the system to write files outside the intended directory by supplying object keys with traversal segments during sync operations. This occurs because the path resolution does not properly restrict paths to remain within the root directory. The vulnerability affects operations including Put, Get, Head, Delete, Chmod, Chown, Symlink, and Readlink. The fix involves changing the path resolution function to reject keys that resolve outside the root directory.
