0 IBM ContextForge MCP Gateway versions 1.0.0 through 1.0.8 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the Admin API log-download endpoint. The vulnerability arises because the path confinement check uses a string prefix method instead of proper boundary validation, allowing an authenticated admin to access log files outside the intended directory. This can lead to unauthorized reading of .log, .jsonl, and .json files outside the configured log folder.
