CVE-2026-78230: CWE-1220 Insufficient Granularity of Access Control in ash-project ash_aiCVE-2026-78230 0 CVE-2026-78230 is an access control vulnerability in ash-project's ash_ai that allows unauthorized reading of restricted fields via aggregate queries. The issue arises because field policies that redact forbidden fields do not apply to aggregate values, enabling actors to bypass per-actor field restrictions by requesting aggregates like min or max. This can expose sensitive data such as PII that should be restricted. The vulnerability affects versions from 0.1.0 up to but not including 1.0.3. A fix has been implemented to enforce field policy authorization on aggregated fields. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 09/08/2026, 16:41:45 UTC Added: 09/08/2026, 16:52:57 UTC |
