CVE-2026-78414: CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in Network Optix Nx Witness VMSCVE-2026-78414 0 CVE-2026-78414 is a high-severity cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Web Administration interface of Network Optix Nx Witness VMS before version 6.1.3. It allows an adjacent-network attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of an authenticated administrator by setting a malicious site name on a compromised Nx server. This can lead to theft of the administrator's session token and full administrator account takeover. The vulnerability affects Linux, Windows, and MacOS versions of the software.
